How to replace the blade of QC12 series shearing machine (swing shearing machine)
As a common shearing equipment for sheet metal processing, the shearing machine is used frequently and needs regular maintenance. The blade is the most easily worn part during the use of the shearing machine. It needs to be replaced after the surface of the cutting edge is worn or chipped. JUGAO CNC Machine introduces the distribution disassembly and installation guide to help you successfully complete the replacement of the blade.
1. Preparation of tools for disassembly
Electric wrench (can be replaced by manual), hexagon wrench and other common tools
2. Safety measures
Two persons are required to operate the device, and the power supply of the device must be turned off during disassembly.
3. Disassembly and installation
1) Remove the front guardrail.
2) Remove the front support box.
3) Adjust the X-axis to the maximum position (550mm) to facilitate the removal of the blade. Turn off the main power after adjusting to the maximum position.
4) Removal of the lower blade. Remove the blade fixing screw and take out the lower blade from the side or back.
5) Installation of the lower blade. After replacing the cutting edge of the blade, reinstall it. Align the position of the fixing bolt hole and tighten the blade bolt. Pay attention to the gap between the two lower blades. This completes the replacement of the lower blade.
6) Removal of the upper blade. You need to find a tool to support the upper blade. It is recommended that two people operate. Then loosen the fixing bolt and remove the blade (if the bolt is blocked by the pressure cylinder and cannot be removed, the pressure cylinder needs to be removed.). Note that there is a blade pad on the back of the upper blade. Pay attention to the position of the blade pad, mark it well, and do not install it incorrectly. Because the thickness of the pad is inconsistent, remember not to swap the position.
7) Installation of the upper blade. After replacing the cutting edge of the blade, reinstall it. Align the position of the fixing bolt hole and pad the blade pad (make sure to keep the same position as the original state). Tighten the blade bolt. Note the gap between the two upper blades. After installation, there should be no gap or uneven joints. This completes the replacement of the lower blade.
After installation, the blade gap uniformity needs to be adjusted. We will go into details in the next article.
